Salary Range: $80,500 - $90,000

Specific compensation will be based oncandidate'sexperience, skills, qualifications, commercial considerations, and other job-related factorspermittedby law. Daily activities and responsibilities of the role

• Exposure management

• Accountable for day-to-day implementation of fund portfolio manager decisions and fund activity.

• Assistsin daily management of fund cash flows.

• Decides on theoptimalimplementation strategy.

• Adjusts daily exposures and implements operational policies within parameters set by the Head of Portfolio Implementation.

• Creates and instructs trades and ensurestimelyimplementation.

• Contributes to overall strategy development and implementation for portfolios to help generate superior investment performance in Russell Investments' funds and separate accounts.

• Portfolio restructures

• Responsible for the management and coordination of fund transition events.

• Assistswith strategy development todeterminethe most efficient implementation solution for specific manager changes and fund launches for both incoming and existing clients.

• Coordinates with multiple departments toestablishand manage implementation strategies.Ensures efficient, risk-controlled plans for implementing investment process launches or changes.

• Team support

• Provides support to the Head of Portfolio Implementation as it relates to the improvement of the new and existing operational infrastructure for all asset classes, including portfolio viewing,implementationand analytics.

• Stays informed of market events and guides portfolio managers in their implementation decisions.

• Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Desired qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.

• Passion for and interest in global financial markets, portfolio management and analytics, and implementation/execution strategies.

• Technical skills, including basic statistics, and Microsoft Excel (strongly preferred).

• Ability to think critically, solveproblemsand find solutions for an evolving and improving investment process.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate and work with allmannerof team members in a conscientious and inclusive way.

• Aptitude to work under your own initiative and adhere to strict deadlines

• Excellent communication and project management skills including the ability to proactivelyestablishand maintain relationships across teams and to escalate potential issues and drive solutions.

Bonus qualifications and experience

• 1-3years'related investment experience, or experience in the investment management industry.

• Advanced degree in a related discipline including, but not limited to Business Management, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, etc.).

• Basic understanding of securities markets, derivatives, and foreign exchange investment strategies.

• Exposure to trading, operational and/or funds environment.

• Knowledge of quantitative investment practices, including portfolio analysis and optimization, is a plus, as is experience with Bloomberg or the ability to use or learn technology systems.

• Basic awareness of database structures and the programming languages used to query them including (ie. SQL,python, r, etc.) or a demonstrated ability to learn such skills are desirable.
