Job description
The Immigration Coordinator provides administrative support to a growing team responsible for drafting immigration petitions and green card applications. The Immigration Coordinator will be a key member of the team by sorting and scanning incoming mail, printing, and compiling drafted petitions/applications for filing with USCIS/Consulate, and performing data integrity and data audits. The Immigration Coordinator will report directly to the Senior Coordinator.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Gather and organize supporting documentation from clients that are necessary for immigration filings
- Print and compile drafted petitions/applications for filing with USCIS/Consulate
- Timely sort and scan incoming mail from clients and USCIS/Consulate
- Ensure data integrity by routinely updating case progress and critical immigration dates in INSZoom, our immigration case management system, and completing data audits
- Provide administrative support (mail, fax, copying, and scanning).
- Place inquiries with USCIS and NVC; complete web portal inquiries.
- Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress/issues to the manager and/or attorney.
- Work collaboratively with Immigration Specialist, manager(s), and attorney(s).
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
