Job description

Counter Sales - Warehouse - Forklift Associate
Hiring a Warehouse Associate with Forklift and Counter Sales or Customer Service experience to support an HVAC Manufacturing Organization that is the leader in climate control products. Need a team player who is okay with helping where needed in the store, someone who can support Warehouse Operations - not just forklift; whether working in the warehouse, at the counter helping customers or could be answering phones.
PAY RATE: 20.00 hour
HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm (M-F)
LOCATION: Urbandale, IA 50323
DUTIES:

  • Under general supervision, performs manual warehouse and computer clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.
  • Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
  • Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
  • Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
  • Completes written and computerized documentation.


BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or GED - Required
  • Drug Test
  • Background Check (Felony and Misdemeanor last 7 years)


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Forklift operation - Required
  • Counter Sales or Customer Service experience
  • Computer skills to look up parts for customers and customer orders
  • SAP EWM experience would be preferred
  • Shipping and Receiving experience
  • Good oral and written communications skills.
  • Good computer skills required: Microsoft applications.
  • General HVAC knowledge helpful
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
