Job description

Job Title: Associate Engineering Technician Location: Portage, MI Type: Contract Compensation: $25-29/hour Work Model: Onsite Hours: 7am - 3:30pm

Overview: Provides technical support to engineering activities by assisting with technical evaluations, documentation, root cause investigations, and implementation of established engineering procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to engineers and scientists on engineering and technical tasks.
  • Develop and recommend technical procedures and methods following established guidelines.
  • Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.
  • Perform technical evaluations to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Execute technical work in accordance with defined procedures and work instructions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Recent college graduates with a focus in Engineering are accepted.
  • Basic understanding of technical procedures and engineering work practices.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and make decisions based on defined guidelines.
  • Preferred: Experience in additive manufacturing.
