Your contributions will directly impact how customers work by delivering reliable, secure, and scalable software experiences. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll accelerate product innovation, leverage AI-powered development tools, and grow your technical expertise while helping Litera advance its AI-first strategy. This role is critical to delivering high-quality software that drives customer value and supports Litera's continued growth.**What You’ll Deliver*** Develop and deliver high-quality software features that improve customer experiences across Literal's SaaS product portfolio.* Contribute to the stability, performance, and reliability of applications by identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.* Collaborate with Product, UX, and Quality Engineering teams to turn customer and business needs into impactful product capabilities.* Improve code quality and maintainability through testing, peer reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices.* Leverage AI-powered development tools to increase delivery velocity, enhance code quality, and streamline engineering workflows.* Support the evolution of scalable cloud-based applications and services that serve a global customer base.* Continuously expand technical expertise across modern development frameworks, cloud platforms, and emerging AI technologies.* Contribute as an engaged member of an Agile engineering team, helping drive continuous improvement and successful product delivery.We’re committed to creating an inclusive environment. If you need accommodations at any point in the process or in the role, we’re here to support you.**What You’ll Bring**Must-Haves:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.* 0–2 years of software engineering experience, including internships, academic projects, or professional experience.* Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.* Foundational understanding of software development principles, object-oriented design, and version control systems such as Git.* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail.* Strong communication skills, a growth mindset, and enthusiasm for learning new technologies in an AI-first engineering environment.Nice to Haves:* Exposure to full-stack web development using .NET/C#, REST APIs, or similar modern application frameworks.* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.* Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar coding assistants.* Familiarity with Agile development practices, legal technology, data analytics, AI/ML applications, or experience in fast-paced environments through projects, open-source work, or hackathons.We know great candidates don’t always check every box. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and other relevant qualifications. This role is also eligible to participate in a company bonus plan. In addition to base salary, Litera offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and incentive and recognition programs.
