ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a talented Associate Producer to join our team!

Rate: $25.00/H

YOUR DAY-DAY:

Responsible for the creation of graphic elements in iNews which include written/visual content and statistics under tight deadlines in a live broadcast environment including but not limited to a control room
Check and proof graphics for grammar, spelling, clarity and impact under tight deadlines during live productions
Communicate effectively and clearly across departments to ensure the highest levels of execution and best on-air product
Responsible for upholding the strongest levels of creativity and news judgment regarding graphics content produced
Required to be in the control room during show/event pre-production and throughout air for assigned shows/events to time-out individual content within programs, create new graphic elements as necessary and correct any errors prior to air
Ensure that the most complete feed information is communicated to the producer and talent of the production before air
Place sponsorships in correct positions and execute during the event as stated by Sports Integrations department
Responsible for gathering information and statistics and communicating all relevant information to anchors
Make sure that all information received from correspondents is correctly spelled and accurate
Responsible for participating in and assisting with any aspects of field production on site as required
Confirm game formats and traffic logs are accurate for each production
Ensure that promotions assigned to the production are aired

YOU HAVE:

3+ years of experience in sports or news production with an emphasis on graphic interpretation of news events preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Working knowledge of VizRt preferred
Strong editorial judgment is a must along with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a live broadcast environment
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Bilingual English/Spanish; excellent verbal and writing capability in Spanish Language
Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
