As a service associate you will focus on providing the best customer experience
possible, partnering with multiple teammates to display, merchandise, stock, receive,
and maintain the best retail environment possible. It's the collaboration and teamwork of

Work environment:
Mackey's is a fast paced retail environment that involves
continuous interaction with customers, team members, and the ongoing evolution of the
store. Responsibilities require active movements that include reaching, bending, and
lifting. Product weights range from 5 - 60 lbs., with occasional variances due to product
condition. Seasonality of the business and corresponding product offerings involves the
exposure to varying temperatures and allergens. Environment requires spending a
prolonged period of time on her or his feet, standing or walking, continuously between
breaks.
Requirements

  • Leadership qualities such as leading by example and supporting the success of team members.
  • Exhibit organization and prioritization skills to complete deliverables within deadlines while managing intermittent requests and interruptions.
  • Recognize and seek opportunities to learn more about products and processes to enhance Mackey's customer experience.
  • Properly handle, maintain, and store merchandise to ensure product integrity and safety for customers and team members.
  • Proficient in Windows based software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

  • Customer service, cashier, accounting office and/or service desk experience, particularly in a retail setting
  • Write and speak clearly, concisely and with tact in a variety of settings using effective communication skills; demonstrating empathy and respect for others at all times
  • Experience leading a team or project.
  • Experience working in a bank or accounting firm
  • Experience handling large sums of cash or other tender
