We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer who can architect, build, and optimize modern headless digital experiences using Optimizely CMS, Next.js, React, personalization, analytics, and content delivery technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience developing, implementing, and maintaining content management solutions, preferably using Optimizely CMS (formerly Episerver). Additionally, you will create seamless, high-performing user experience with a Next.js/React front end. Your role will be pivotal in delivering a robust, scalable, and user-friendly digital experience.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Full Stack Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing, implementing, and maintaining content management solutions, preferably using Optimizely CMS (formerly Episerver). Additionally, you will create seamless, high-performing user experience with a Next.js/React front end. Your role will be pivotal in delivering a robust, scalable, and user-friendly digital experience.

Key Responsibilities

    • CMS Development & Maintenance
      • Design, implement, and maintain websites using Optimizely CMS.
      • Create and customize reusable Optimizely content types, templates, and modules to meet project requirements.
      • Manage CMS workflows, permissions, and content publishing processes.
    • Front-End Integration
      • Develop and integrate user-facing features with Next.js and React.
      • Optimize the front-end architecture for performance and scalability.
      • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into high-quality code.
    • API & Data Handling
      • Support Frontend connection to CMS backend via GraphQL
      • Build and manage APIs to connect the front end and CMS backend.
      • Ensure secure and efficient data flow between systems.
      • Support flow of digital asset data from DAM to CMS
    • Performance Optimization
      • Ensure websites are optimized for speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
      • Implement best practices for SEO, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
    • Team Collaboration
      • Work closely with product owners, digital marketing, designers, and other developers.
      • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes.
      • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps Boards).
    • Knowledge of Azure CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
    • Familiarity with Git.
    • Experience designing composable DXP architectures using Optimizely Graph, REST/GraphQL APIs, SSR, SSG, ISR, and modern front-end patterns. Development Tools & Methodologies:
    • Strong understanding of CSS and Sass (SCSS)
    • Proficiency in Next.js, React, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
    • 3+ years proven experience with .NET
  • Authroization to work in the United States on a permanent basis: Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1 with OPT or CPT, H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Familiarity with cloud services in Azure and hosting environments.
    • Understanding of SEO principles and performance optimization techniques.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Optimizely CMS
    • Experience with Headless CMS Integration (REST/GraphQL)
    • Experience with other CMS platforms and migration to Optimizely CMS.
    • Experience with Optimizely Graph, Search & Navigation, Aprimo DAM, Cloudflare CDN, experimentation, consent management, and analytics platforms.
    • Familiarity with Google analytics tools and tag management systems.
    • Certification in Optimizely or related technologies is a plus.
