Job description

Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week 

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically strong AWS Full Stack Developer to join our technology team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and supporting scalable cloud-native applications and enterprise integrations that enhance business operations, analytics, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AWS cloud services, full stack application development, Java and Python programming, APIs, data engineering, and modern software engineering practices. Experience with Varicent Sales Performance Management (SPM) / Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platforms is considered a strong plus.

The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud-native development, automation, and leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate delivery and improve solution quality.

What You'll Do:
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable full stack applications using AWS cloud technologies and modern software engineering practices

  • Build and support integrations between enterprise applications, APIs, and compensation management platforms while ensuring scalability, reliability, and security

  • Develop responsive front-end applications and robust backend services using Java, Python, cloud-native architectures, and AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and Step Functions

  • Design and implement ETL and data integration pipelines to support analytics, operational reporting, and enterprise workflows

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, DevOps teams, and cross-functional partners to gather requirements, troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and deliver high-quality technical solutions

  • Contribute to Agile delivery processes, DevOps automation, CI/CD pipeline implementation, infrastructure-as-code practices, and adoption of AI-powered development tools to improve engineering efficiency and solution quality

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in full stack software development

  • Strong hands-on experience developing cloud-native applications and services on AWS

  • Experience with Java, Python, REST APIs, microservices, and modern front-end frameworks

  • Knowledge of cloud-native architecture patterns, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technology and business teams

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Varicent SPM / ICM platforms or incentive compensation systems

  • Familiarity with AWS services including Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudWatch, and Step Functions

  • Experience with ETL development, data engineering, analytics platforms, and enterprise integrations

  • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Amazon Q, or similar technologies

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $81,000-$115,500 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
