Job Title: Front-End Designer & Developer
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Front-End Designer & Developer with expertise in Optimizely (formerly Episerver) CMS and applications to join our dynamic team. As a front-end specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketers, and back-end developers, to create visually stunning, responsive, and optimized user interfaces. Your role will be critical in delivering engaging digital experiences using Optimizely for web content management and personalization. This position will focus on the design, development & enhancement of our corporate website. www.manh.com
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Development: Develop high-quality, responsive websites and web applications, with a focus on seamless user experience, interactivity, and functionality.
  • Optimizely Implementation: Leverage Optimizely CMS and features to build, optimize, and maintain digital platforms, ensuring best practices in content management.
  • UI/UX Collaboration: Work closely with the internal digital team to bring mockups and wireframes to life, ensuring designs translate well into functioning interfaces.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with marketing, design, and back-end development teams to ensure alignment on project goals and efficient implementation.
  • Code & Performance Optimization: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks while optimizing performance across all devices.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve front-end issues in production environments, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • CMS Training & Support: Assist content managers and marketing teams in managing and optimizing content within the Optimizely CMS platform.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional front-end web site development and design experience
  • Experience with Optimizely (Episerver) within a corporate development team is highly preferred

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong understanding of Optimizely CMS platform and its content management capabilities.
  • Experience with Optimizely A/B testing, personalization, and optimization features.
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git or Jira?
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.

Design Skills:
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Frontend Developer Qualifications

Animation & UI/UX
  • Ability to translate design wireframes and prototypes into fully functioning web interfaces.
  • Ability to be the UX lead on reviewing existing experiences and suggesting new experiences for the Manh.com domain.
