Job description

Job Summary:
ELEVI Associates is seeking a Sr Software Developer to join their team. The role involves supporting the modernization of malware analysis and developing techniques for metadata storage to enhance national security systems. The engineer will also explore new technologies and prototype innovative mission tools and analytics.
Responsibilities:
• Support the modernization of malware analysis and develop techniques for metadata storage for knowledge management to support the defense of national security systems.
• The engineer will be a part of a team who explores new technologies and prototypes new mission tools and analytics.
• The team also develops new algorithms and innovative techniques to address mission related problems.
Qualifications:
Required:
• You must have a current or active security clearance with a FS Poly.
• Possess twenty (20)+ years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required or 4 more years experience
• Experience developing containerized applications (Kubernetes/Docker)
• Ability to develop high-quality, efficient, and testable code
• Ability to debug complex, system-wide issues.
• Java Application (no front end necessary), REST
• Ability to multitask and pivot to different tasks quickly
• Experience with Atlassian tools, Git
• Experience with IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE
• This position requires PRIVAC. Candidate must have a current (within 7 years) poly and/or currently possess the minimum level of PRIVAC required for this role (NSYS). When submitting candidates, please confirm their poly/PRIVAC status.
