Role Description The Bankruptcy Paralegal is a full-time, on-site role based in Hackensack, NJ. This role supports attorneys and consultants in preparing and reviewing bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and related legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and court rules. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and organizing client financial information, maintaining case files, managing deadlines, and communicating with clients, courts, and trustees. The Bankruptcy Paralegal will also assist with filing documents electronically, updating case management systems, and providing administrative support to facilitate efficient case handling.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Legal Document Preparation and familiarity with court filing procedures.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of Bankruptcy Law, including Chapter 7 processes and requirements.
