Job Description Summary: 

Heavy Equipment Sales Representative has opportunity to Sell and Rent equipment and attachments in an assigned geographic territory. Anderson Equipment Company will support sales representative with sales planning tools, comprehensive training program with dedicated Branch Manager coaching, and extensive fleet of construction, mining, paving, forestry equipment and attachments.

Sales Representative must grow territory to achieve annual sales revenue and market share targets by understanding customer needs, identifying sales opportunities, and developing customized equipment and financial solutions. Sales Representative must reside in the territory to maximize community exposure to Anderson and to maintain ongoing relationships with customers and resolve issue quickly by utilizing internal contacts with Service, Parts and Rental departments at the branch.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Work experience in Heavy Equipment, Auto, or related industry.
  • Work experience that demonstrates proven track record of achievement of sales, revenue targets or financial goals.
  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills with focus on dependable follow-up and responsiveness.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and financial creativity.
  • Position requires daily traveling within sales territory to customer job sites and meetings. Must have a valid driver's license and ability to meet the requirements of the company’s driver policy.
  • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree with finance, marketing, business concentration (preferred).

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation Range depends on Sales Rep ability to achieve revenue and bonus targets: $60,000-$150,000.
  • Compensation consists of salary, commission, and bonuses based on achieving annual targets.
