They value integrity, excellence, and nimbleness and are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Associate Financial Planner to join our growing team. This is a Hybrid role (3 days in office). We are only looking at local candidates - NO RELOCATION ASSISTANCE OFFERED AND NO VISA CANDIDATES REGARDLESS OF STATUS PLEASE.

Job Description: You will support our financial advisors in delivering exceptional financial planning services to our clients. You will assist in preparing and maintaining financial plans, conducting research, and helping our effort toward internal continuing education. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to develop their career in financial planning while working alongside experienced professionals in the wealth management field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial plans, including gathering and analyzing client data.
  • Prepare financial plan presentations and reports for clients – attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.
  • Maintain and convey knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and financial products.
  • Work closely with financial advisors to implement and review client financial strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting advisors in client meetings
  • Contribute to the growth of departmental practices and strategies.
  • Work closely with team members and other departments to improve systems and create processes that boost workflow and drive new business opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Completion of or progress toward professional certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of prior experience in a financial planning or paraplanning role is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (this is a client-facing role).
  • Proficient in financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, etc.) is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • They do not provide immigration-related sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, TN, STEM OPT, etc.) for this role. NO Visas of any kind please.
