Job description

Multidisciplinary design firm is seeking an Environmental Project Engineer to join their Dallas, Texas team!



Responsibilities:
  • Prepare planning/ design documents in appropriate engineering discipline
  • Coordinate work of assistant, associate professional staff and technical staff
  • Perform process design calculations, prepare cost estimates, and use economic analyses for comparison of alternatives
  • Develop project scope of work; develop project schedule; prepare project initiation paperwork; manage budget reviews and schedule progress reports
  • Coordinate projects with other teams; perform/coordinate design aspects of projects; direct team members on design tasks; maintain project records (correspondence, drawings, and files); coordinate with clients; attend client meetings
  • Manage the preparation of technical reports, memos, and summaries to effectively communicate findings to clients/internal teams
  • Serve as project manager
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations
  • Assist with marketing / business development and prepare project proposals


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • 5+ years of relevant environmental or civil engineering experience, specifically with water / wastewater treatment or environmental design
  • PE License
  • Proficient with engineering tools, software, and methodologies
  • Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD


Salary is commensurate with experience.
