Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) has an immediate opening for a Assoc Engineering Technician Assoc Engineering Technician (Overland Park, KS) MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES: Associate Civil Engineering Technician plays a vital role in the delivery of high-quality engineering deliverables for these complex infrastructure projects, working alongside a collaborative and experienced team of professionals. Under close supervision, this role performs technical civil engineering design tasks, with an emphasis on the preparation and modification of site plans, grading designs, and utility layouts. Work is performed using advanced, industry-standard design tools such as Autodesk Civil 3D, PVcase and PVFarm.

Supports engineering teams under general supervision Performs technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices Uses digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling) Creates, updates, and maintains technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables Begins providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering technicians SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Experience with Civil 3D grading Autodesk Civil 3D QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
