Job description

Overview
The Imaging Scheduling Specialist I is responsible for screening, scheduling, and directing patients to appropriate locations and services within the Imaging Department.
Responsibilities
Receives all incoming phone calls and facilitates the scheduling of imaging procedures.
Provides patients with division specific patient education materials to ensure they are prepared for scheduled tests/procedures.
Conducts financial discussion with patients and/or provider's office regarding fees for imaging procedures according to ABN and pre-authorization guidelines.
Maintains department patient schedule, ensures blocks are full and cancelled appointments are rescheduled.

Salary Range
The compensation range for this position is $18.19per hour - $29.47per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
