Job Schedule: 9/80:Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off 

Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking an early career electrical engineer who will join the design team to develop custom power conversion circuit cards. The engineer will apply their knowledge of analog circuitry to design and test discrete filters, control feedback loops, magnetics, and support circuitry for low and high voltage, high frequency switch mode power electronics under the supervision of senior power supply engineers. The individual must work with other engineering disciplines to ensure power supply designs meet the power, thermal, emissions and safety requirements of the system requirements.

Essential Functions:

Knowledge of analog electronics: resistors, inductors, capacitors, transistors, op-amps, etc.

Familiarity with lab equipment: power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc. 

Possess strong English skills to writing performance specifications, test procedures, and reports

Able to follow test procedures accurately and efficiently

Familiarity with reading and interpreting datasheets

Able to run SPICE simulators and evaluate circuit performance (SIMPLIS is a plus)

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 years prior experience or Graduate Degree (Coursework in power electronics is a plus)
