Associate Veterinarian at Chalet Veterinary Clinic | Stoughton, WI

Chalet Veterinary Clinic is a multi-doctor, companion animal hospital located in Stoughton, WI. For over 30 years, weโ€™ve proudly provided high-quality medical, dental, and surgical services to dogs and cats.

We are seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join our supportive, collaborative team.

About Our Hospital

We focus on comprehensive, high-quality veterinary care for canine and feline patients. Our modern facility includes:

  • Dedicated radiology room
  • Large surgical suite
  • Digital radiography with SignalPet AI interpretation (optional radiologist consultation)
  • IDEXX Catalyst, ProCyte, and Sedivue analyzers
  • New electrocautery unit
  • New anesthesia & patient monitoring equipment
  • Complete in-house lab

We provide routine soft tissue and dental surgeries and handle emergencies on a case-by-case basis. Complex cases are referred to our trusted local ER or specialty facilities.

Schedule & Role Overview

This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, and we're happy to work with the right candidate to create a schedule that fits both your availability and the practice's needs.

While the schedule is flexible, our ideal options are outlined below.

Full-Time Schedule (Preferred Option):

  • Flexible 4-day work week by choosing four days between Monday and Friday, with shifts from 8:00 a.m. โ€“ 5:30 p.m.
  • Willingness to occasionally cover a Saturday for PTO or planned absences is appreciated
  • One surgery day per week

Part-Time Schedule (Preferred Option):

  • No weekends, no on-call, and no after-hours responsibilities
  • One day dedicated to appointments
  • One day dedicated to surgery (soft tissue and dentistry preferred)

Surgery & Appointment Flow

  • Surgery caseload: 2โ€“4 procedures per day (spays, neuters, mass removals, dentals; orthopedic procedures referred out)
  • Appointments:
  • ~5โ€“7 on partial surgery days
  • Built-in 12:00โ€“1:30 p.m. lunch/catch-up time

Our Support Team

  • 3 CVTs
  • 2 Veterinary Technicians
  • 3 Veterinary Assistants

Each doctor is supported by a dedicated technician, with additional support available as needed. Our team has strong tenure, ranging from 2 to 25 years.
