What Your Day Actually Looks Like:
We believe doctors should have enough time to appropriately work up their patients rather than feeling like they're racing from room to room.
  • Practice Hours: Mon & Fri (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM), Tues & Wed (8:00 AM - 7:00 PM), Thurs & Sun (Closed)
  • Full-time doctors typically work a 3-day week followed by a 5-day week, with every other Saturday.
  • Surgery days: Tuesday & Wednesday
  • Appointments are scheduled for 20+ or 40+ minutes based on the patient and case
  • Dedicated technician support: approximately 1.5 techs per DVM
  • There is no traditional on-call requirement. Our Dundee ER sister hospital is open 24/7, providing emergency coverage outside of Elgin's regular hours.
