Compensation

  • Anticipated pay range is a base salary of $110,000 to $120,000 per year, plus production bonuses.
  • Sign-on commitment and retention bonus of up to $30,000 available, paid evenly at the start of employment at the 6 months and 1 year work anniversary.
  • Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and production goals.

Pinnacle Valley Westrock Animal Hospital is a well-equipped small animal exclusive practice in Little Rock, Arkansas. We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, team-oriented associate veterinarian to join our well-established practice. An interest in strengthening internal medicine skills is a plus, and an interest in surgery is welcome. No after-hours emergency duties are required.


Meet our doctors: Rene LaVergne, DVM (LSU '90) -- owner, manager, surgeon, with medicine and ER experience. Sonya LaVergne, DVM (LSU '91) -- owner, with 31 years of medicine experience and skilled in internal medicine and neurology. Karen Hooks, DVM (Tuskegee '88) -- medicine, chiropractic, and acupuncture, with ER experience and thorough orthopedic diagnostic skills. Shelby Lowery, DVM (Ross '22). All four take a true team approach to complicated cases, backed by a highly skilled and friendly support staff.


Our facility is well-equipped with advanced ultrasonography, digital radiology, state-of-the-art laser surgery and surgical monitoring equipment, a dental machine, an in-house diagnostic lab, and a fully-stocked on-site pharmacy. We have 3 exam rooms, a fully-equipped surgical suite, boarding facilities with a separate cat boarding area, an isolation unit, and an on-site groomer. We also refer to local specialists – internist, dermatologist, ophthalmologist, and surgeon – to assist with advanced cases and special procedures.


We have an extremely loyal and proactive clientele, and our focus is on providing the best medical care for our patients alongside the highest level of customer service for our clients. We're located in the desirable West Little Rock neighborhood, a short drive from downtown and close to a number of local parks and attractions.
