Job description

The Associate Director of Financial Aid oversees a staff of financial aid administrators who work to ensure students are properly funded, packaged, and prepared to start each semester. The function of the Associate Director of Financial Aid is to support the Director. This is accomplished through:Overseeing student financingConducting initial overview with studentReviewing and following-up on student packagingConducting financial aid review with studentMonitoring and tracking financial aid packagesThe Associate Director of Financial Aid must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.The Associate Director of Financial Aid must also have:3-5 years experience as a Financial Aid officer / representativeKnowledge of Federal & State Grant / loan programsExperience with Return to Title IV calculationsHands on knowledge of crossover funding issuesManagerial experienceManaging team performance
