Location:
San Francisco, California – Hybrid schedule with a strong team environment. Employees work in the office three days per week (four days per week during the first 90 days), with regular visits to project sites throughout San Francisco. Candidates should live within a reasonable commuting distance (approximately 45 minutes) of San Francisco.

Note:
Applicants must have 2+ years of commercial construction Assistant Project Manager or project coordination experience with a strong background supporting commercial Tenant Improvement (TI) projects. Because approximately 80% of our projects are located in San Francisco, candidates should be able to easily access both the office and project sites.

Job Description

  • Support commercial Tenant Improvement projects from planning through project closeout.
  • Coordinate vendors, project schedules, meetings, and project documentation.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take detailed meeting notes, and distribute weekly project updates.
  • Track invoices, submittals, RFIs, certificates of insurance, and FF&E orders.
  • Assist with move management, material procurement, and project closeout activities.
  • Maintain organized digital project files and documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, consultants, and vendors.
  • Conduct site visits and provide project support to Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.
  • Learn construction management best practices while contributing to successful project delivery.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of commercial construction Assistant Project Manager or project coordination experience.
  • Required experience supporting commercial Tenant Improvement (TI) construction projects.
  • Ability to review construction drawings and project documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Dropbox, and digital collaboration tools.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with Procore, PlanGrid, or Microsoft Project is a plus.
  • Must be able to commute to the San Francisco office and project sites on a regular basis.
