Position Description:
CGI Federal Inc is seeking Digital Program Manager to support the Office of the Chief Science Data Officer (OCSDO) at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) under our NASA CPSS contract.
The selected candidate will lead the modernization and integration of key digital platforms supporting scientific data access and High End Computing (HEC) program visibility.
This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing improvements across the Science Data Portal (SDP) and the HEC web ecosystem to enhance usability, governance, and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Science Data Portal (SDP) Modernization:
Lead the transformation of the SDP into a robust, centralized access hub for scientific data and related resources.
Integrate new or existing search capabilities, such as the Science Discovery Engine or training search modules, to improve content discoverability.
Oversee internal restructuring and consolidation of existing SDP pages to streamline navigation and remove content redundancy.
Implement new functional components, including:
Governance portal
Training and resource areas
Improved information architecture
Enhanced user pathways and interface design
Ensure all enhancements support OCSDO's open science and data modernization objectives.
High End Computing (HEC) Web Presence Consolidation:
Direct the consolidation of all High End Computing -related web content into a unified, cohesive website.
Collaborate with HEC program teams and technical staff to ensure consistent branding, governance adherence, and standardized content presentation.
Oversee site structure, content integration, and quality assurance to ensure a seamless user experience across all HEC digital properties.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
BS/BA
20+ years of experience
Project Management Software:
Proficiency in tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, and Microsoft Project
Agile Methodologies:
Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
Web Development Knowledge:
Understanding basic web design and development principles, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Digital Marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and search engine optimization
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
. Experience working with a technical team including web developers, user interface and user experience teams, and infrastructure staff, with the ability to understand development workflows.
. Ability to translate technical concepts into plain language for non technical stakeholders and convert business needs into actionable technical tasks.
. Experience working with web modernization, web content systems, or CMS driven environments. Drupal experience is a plus.
. Demonstrated experience with project management.
. Strong risk management and issue identification skills, with the ability to proactively surface issues and communicate them to leadership.
. Experience coordinating cross functional teams.
. Awareness of basic web development workflows.
. Experience supporting teams that use Git, GitHub, or similar version control systems to manage technical tasks.

To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $100,800.00 $223,200.00.
