POSITION OVERVIEW:
This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented position that impacts multiple WETA fundraising teams. The Associate, Development Operations manages timely quality control ensuring accurate data within WETA Membership and PBS News Fundraising systems. The position collaborates closely with internal clients and external vendors to trouble-shoot errors and issues that arise with donation information and member or donor account management. Reports to Director, Data Strategy & Management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
โ€ข Serve as resource for all fundraising teams regarding database operations alongside and under guidance of the Director.
โ€ข Review and correct donor records entered by internal staff, vendors, and online donor portals.
โ€ข Oversee completion of all quality control procedures, including weekly, monthly, annual, and ad hoc files.
โ€ข Provide support for Audience Services and Donor Care staff for donor record management work as needed.
โ€ข Cross functional backup for all Data Strategy and Development Services staff members.
โ€ข Assist with revenue reconciliation needs.
โ€ข Serve as lead for donation adjustments when requested by Audience Services or Donor Care staff members.
โ€ข Edit and maintain documentation for all Data Entry/Processing procedures.
โ€ข Assure completion of volunteer and event data.
โ€ข Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
MS Excel, MS Visio, experience with PL/SQL or T-SQL
ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
โ€ข Knowledge of fundraising database technology and ability to apply it to fundraising development and operations support.
โ€ข Experience with CRM systems such as ROI Solutions Revolution CRM, Engaging Networks or equivalent systems preferred.
โ€ข Experienced research and analytical skills.
โ€ข Excellent time management and organizational skills
โ€ข Meticulous approach to work and keen eye for details.
โ€ข Ability to interact with a wide variety of people using diplomacy, tact, and discretion.
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to successfully perform duties in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressures.
โ€ข Strong understanding and application of computer technology to efficiently accomplish work using Microsoft Office programs.
