ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking highly motivated and proactive individuals to join our Church & Dwight Supply Chain Operational Rotational Experience (SCORE) program. This unique program spans a full-time 24-month duration, encompassing rotations across diverse functional areas within our supply chain, offering a comprehensive understanding of our end-to-end supply chain operations. The program is tailored to foster development of critical leadership skills, engage participants in impactful projects, enhance business acumen and understanding of our company culture. Graduates from this program will be provided guidance in their professional pursuits, steering participants toward a path of career advancement. Selected individuals will have the opportunity to engage in peer mentorship opportunities, networking, facility tours, Kaizen activities and skill development through crossโ€‘functional work.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in supply chain operations, a willingness to learn, and a drive to contribute innovative ideas to improve our operations at Church & Dwight. The SCORE program participants should also feel comfortable working in distinct rotations, as the rotation entails transitioning to different functions every 8 months. Rotations for this role include:

  • Operation Support: Engage in productivity and efficiency audits, assist in production planning and scheduling, monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and learn maintenance practices to ensure adherence to quality and product specifications.
  • LEAN: Actively participate in implementing Lean Manufacturing Initiatives and Practices, contribute to Kaizen Events and Continuous Improvement projects, and apply Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize processes.
  • Materials Management: Assist in production planning activities, manage orders and receiving raw materials, and implement warehouse management best practices to ensure efficient materials handling.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contributions are usually limited to task-related activities. Errors do not typically have a major effect on the organization.
  • Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
  • Work is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions.
  • Contacts primarily with immediate supervisor and other personnel in the section group.
  • Basic application of principles, theories and concepts. Limited knowledge of industry practices and standards.
  • Rotate through the various functions of the site over a 24-month period, supporting project work as assigned.
  • Collaborate with higher-level managers to develop critical leadership skills for future career advancement.
  • Engage with mentors across various fields, including site maintenance, quality, production, environmental health and safety, lean practices and costโ€‘saving initiatives.
  • Embodies the Church & Dwight behaviors such as being Digitally Savvy, fostering a Positive Attitude, setting high aims, simplifying processes, offering assistance, embracing Disruption, and basing decisions on factual information.
  • Ensure that all tasks/projects are performed according to safety, quality, and regulatory procedures.

  • Effectively manage time and prioritize project commitments to meet assigned objectives.
  • Provides process support and assists in troubleshooting, process issues in operations, maintenance, and packaging as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • 0 โ€“ 2 years of experience.
  • 4-year postโ€‘secondary degree.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in supply chain management, operations management, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
  • 0 to 3 yearsโ€™ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Relevant internship or other related work will also be considered.
  • Previous supply chain project work demonstrating the ability to work as a part of a team and complete projects on time and within constraints.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with and collaborate with crossโ€‘functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problemโ€‘solving skills are highly valued.
  • Proven ability to adapt to new environments and work independently as part of a team.

  • Palletizer: Efficiently operate palletizing equipment to stack products on pallets in an organized manner.
  • Wrappers: Operate wrapping machines to securely wrap pallets for shipping and storage.
  • Power Industrial Lift: Safely operate power industrial lifts to move materials and products within the facility.
SETUP SKILLS
  • Pace / Depal: Set up pace and depalletizing equipment for various production runs, ensuring accurate configurations and adjustments.
  • Case Erectors: Configure and set up case erector machines for different packaging requirements, ensuring correct settings and alignment.
