Job description

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Electrical Intermediate Designer for a Hybrid position with a Global Engineering Firm located in Hillsboro, OR, Corvallis, OR, Tempe, AZ or Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This challenging position involves working as part of a multi-discipline, highly interactive and coordinated team focused on projects primarily for the semiconductor manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will bring curiosity, a talent for multi-tasking, and strong organizational skills to a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities: Utilize AutoCAD Prepare drawings using computer aided drafting and basic design of electrical power, life safety, and telecommunications services to manufacturing tools, using appropriate design criteria Coordinate directly with engineers and package design leads to balance workload and deliver packages, often under tight deadlines Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent 2+ years experience with AutoCAD Proficiency in electrical design and layout requirements, including items such as one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and electrical plan view drawings Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook Strong communication, organization and self-performance skills Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of situations, including a remote environment Must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship) Desired skills: Two-year Associate's Degree in a relevant field, such as electrician, instrumentation & controls, or construction Exposure to National Electrical Code (NFPA 70/NEC) Experience in semiconductor or similar industrial facilities Pay rate: up to $40.87 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
