The Environmental Graphic Designer will join an integrated design team of architects and interior designers to create vibrant, immersive experiences for K–12 and higher education clients. Our cross-disciplinary team collaborates within our respective specialties while offering support and conceptual feedback that extends beyond silos to develop dynamic, community-centered environments. This role applies design thinking, creativity, and innovation to projects including large-scale environmental graphics, experience design, branding, signage, wayfinding, presentations, and printed materials—from concept through execution.Your Impact:Create innovative designs that can adapt to a variety of materials and situations using our customers’ brand guidelines.Collaborate directly with clients to create custom visual design packages.Work in unison with Architects and Interior Designers to provide unique specialized designs and plans.Generate detailed designs and facilitate the production and installation of large-scale graphics.Communicate design concepts verbally and visually.Here’s What You’ll Need:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in graphic design or a related field.A minimum of 2 years of professional experience.Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator) and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent oral and written communicationA portfolio or website that demonstrates passionate and creative designsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and excel in a fast past environment Ability to work independently with directionAbility to travel to construction sitesWhy Join Us?PBK offers the best of both worlds: the energy of a growing regional office with the stability of an established national firm.Eligible employees receive an annual performance bonus depending on PBK profitability and individual performance.
