Job Title: Design Engineer

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Design Engineer, where you will be responsible for developing innovative system components and assembly designs. This role involves prototyping, conducting stress analysis, ensuring safety, and achieving cost-effective solutions. You will play a key role from design to production, ensuring successful engineering tasks throughout the entire process.

Responsibilities

  • Design system components and assemblies with a focus on aesthetics, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct prototyping and stress analysis to ensure design robustness.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors to request quotes and approve components.
  • Prepare and approve technical drawings and documentation, including bill of materials and revisions.
  • Oversee the engineering process from design through to manufacturing, installation, production, and support.
  • Engage in hands-on manufacturing of design prototypes.
  • Contribute to system engineering, standard design modifications, and installation drawings.
  • Provide engineering support during installations and follow-up activities.
  • Assist with sales demonstrations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or an Associate's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and measure accurately using a ruler and calipers.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical codes and ability to use hand, power, and machine tools.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Pay and Benefits
