Job description

We're looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our growing team! You’ll complete initial patient screenings, conduct dental cleanings, and assist dentists with examinations and procedures. Job seekers should have incredible customer service skills and a passion for providing excellent dental services. Responsibilities:
  • Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages, such as thorough brushing and flossing twice daily
  • Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities to ensure issues are caught early and can be treated
  • Use molds to create dental impressions of patients’ teeth so that their mouthguards, dentures, veneers, etc. are correctly made
  • Complete x-rays of the patients’ teeth so the dentist can quickly identify any tooth decay or other oral health issues
  • Give guidance to patients about how to have good dental care at home after undergoing an operation or procedure

Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations
  • Must have at least an associate’s degree in dental hygiene; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Capable of standing all day to assist patients
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Current CPR certification
