Position Summary

Calumet College of St. Joseph (CCSJ) invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics beginning Spring 2026. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in mathematics or a closely related field and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching within a liberal arts context. Preference will be given to applicants with experience teaching diverse undergraduate populations.


The instructor may teach up to three courses per semester, including developmental, general education, and advanced mathematics, based on departmental needs. Most courses are scheduled Monday through Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.  The position is scheduled to begin in January 2027 for the Spring 2027 semester. 


Department of Biomedical and Health Sciences

The Department of Biomedical and Health Sciences encompasses science and mathematics programs. The mathematics program offers a minor and supports general education and major-specific requirements. Faculty are expected to support student success through meaningful assessment, early intervention for at-risk students, and adherence to departmental policies.
