Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled analytics professional who can help move the organization beyond SQL-based reporting and static dashboards into a more mature, scalable analytics model. This role will deliver business intelligence, automation, advanced analytics, and data products that improve operational performance, strengthen risk visibility, and support faster, evidence-based decision-making. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, disciplined development practices, and the curiosity to turn complex business problems into clear analytical solutions.
The candidate will gather, integrate, and transform data from multiple sources; design reusable data assets; identify trends, exceptions, and root causes; and build intuitive reporting and analytics solutions using modern tools and platforms. This position partners closely with business, technology, risk, and leadership stakeholders to define success measures, evaluate outcomes, monitor performance, and ensure analytics work leads to practical business action-not just reporting activity.
This role will also help raise the team's overall analytic maturity by applying software development practices, source control, agile delivery, automation, Python-based analysis, Databricks-enabled workflows, and responsible use of AI tools to improve speed, quality, transparency, and business value. This is a strong fit for someone who can operate as both a hands-on developer and an analytical thought partner-someone comfortable building, questioning, automating, explaining, and improving how data is used to make decisions.
This role does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer sponsorship, including F-1 OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, or other employment-based visa sponsorship.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Four to five years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting modernization, analytics engineering, automation, or a related field

Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Strong experience with ETL processes, data integration, data transformation, reusable data modeling, and production-ready data pipelines
  • Advanced experience with Power BI and SQL querying/coding, including data modeling, performance optimization, dashboard design, and reporting modernization
  • Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms, including Snowflake and Databricks, with the ability to design scalable analytics workflows
  • Experience with Python for data analysis, automation, reusable scripting, exception detection, model support, and analytics solution development
  • Experience using GitLab for version control and collaborative development
  • Experience using Jira for agile project management, requirements tracking, and delivery execution
  • Experience with AI prompting, AI agents, and AI-enabled tools to improve analysis, automate repetitive work, summarize complex information, and accelerate business outcomes responsibly
  • Credit Risk experience with strong understanding of risk management principles, portfolio performance, and risk analytics
  • Strong analytic maturity with the ability to frame business problems, challenge assumptions, evaluate data quality, identify meaningful patterns, and translate findings into recommended action
  • Ability to data mine, analyze data, tell the story behind the numbers, and present insights clearly to technical, operational, risk, and executive audiences
  • Ability to convert static reporting into dynamic analytics products, including automated refreshes, exception monitoring, trend analysis, leading indicators, and decision-support views
  • Experience applying development discipline to analytics work, including documentation, peer review, version control, testing, backlog management, and sustainable handoff practices
  • Comfort working in ambiguous environments where the request may start as a report but the real need is diagnosis, automation, controls, operational insight, or a better decision process
  • Ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with senior business unit management, business partners, project sponsors, and technology teams
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect technical work to business impact, risk reduction, capacity improvement, and measurable outcomes
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Curiosity, ownership, and a continuous-improvement mindset, with the ability to help raise the team's analytics craft-not simply complete assigned reports
