Fincantieri Marine Group is hiring an Engineering Data Technician I in the Manufacturing Engineering Services Department at our Sturgeon Bay, WI location.

Position Summary
The Engineering Data Technician is responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative and clerical assistance to the Engineering Department. This role will perform general administrative duties such as but not limited to using and managing database systems, data management software, and word processing software. This role will also coordinate information within the department for the Department Manager which will be utilized to meet the department's overall needs.
Domestic travel may be required.
Essential Functions
  • Perform document scanning tasks and maintain the Engineering Department's electronic library
  • Utilize PC applications, including spreadsheets, databases, graphics, charts, and word processing software
  • Schedule meetings and provide clerical support , preparing reports and documentation from notes and drafts
  • Assist with bid proposal preparation and coordination of technical deliverables and customer documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Familiarity with filing systems and maintaining individual and departmental calendars
  • Ability to set, adjust and change daily priorities with strong multi-tasking abilities
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, phones and printers
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills
