Job description

Ceramex North America is seeking a Manufacturing & Product Engineer to support the development, validation, and continuous improvement of diesel emissions restoration products and manufacturing processes. This role supports DPF, DOC, and emissions-system products while driving operational efficiency, product reliability, quality compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Core Functions:

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes for DPF, DOC, SCR, clamps, gaskets, and related products.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, throughput, waste reduction, and cost savings.

• Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process validation activities.

• Optimize tooling, equipment utilization, workflow, and manufacturing efficiency.

• Develop work instructions, process documentation, and operator training materials.

• Support product validation testing, engineering changes, and new product introductions.

• Analyze product performance data to identify reliability improvements and failure trends.

• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, OEMs, and suppliers.

• Maintain compliance with OEM, EPA, quality, safety, and environmental standards.

• Support lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, PFMEA, SPC, and process improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.

• 3–7 years of manufacturing or product engineering experience preferred.

• Experience with diesel emissions systems, heavy-duty diesel, automotive, or industrial manufacturing preferred.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of CAD systems, ERP/MRP software, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
