Director of Marketing

OSTEOCENTRIC TECHNOLOGIES INC

Job description

OsteoCentric Technologies is a medical device platform technology company building innovative orthopedic solutions. We're looking for a Director of Marketing to help shape brand, product, and commercial marketing strategy for our medtech business, a player-coach role for someone who's equally comfortable building a strong point of view and rolling up their sleeves to execute.

This is a builder's role: you'll be creating process and infrastructure where none yet exists, not optimizing something already in place. You'll bring a well-reasoned strategy to the table, partner closely with engineering, sales, clinical, and executive leadership, and stay flexible when the business needs something different than what you proposed. You're comfortable operating without full decision-making authority. You’re someone who brings structure and rigor without requiring it to be your structure, and who's willing to work outside traditional marketing scope when that's what the business needs.

This role reports into our Logan, UT office, and relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and develop a team of marketing product managers and/or associates, providing clear direction, coaching, and accountability.
  • Lead by example, actively contribute to campaign execution, content development, and go-to-market planning alongside your team.
  • Build a high-performance, collaborative culture with a bias toward action and measurable results.
  • Assess team capacity and drive hiring plans as the organization grows.
  • Help govern brand consistency across OsteoCentric's medtech business and strategic partnerships.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, translating surgeon insights and market feedback into actionable commercial strategies and product recommendations.
  • Help lead commercialization of new technologies through coordinated, cross-functional marketing plans.
  • Guide clinical market education initiatives to support and strengthen brand authority and technology recognition in the field. [AF1]
  • Lead the execution of integrated marketing programs across digital, content, events, and professional channels.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies including website management, SEO/SEM, social media, marketing automation, and performance analytics, ensuring alignment with enterprise brand standards.
  • Develop awareness and engagement strategies aligned with commercial and sales goals.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize marketing funnel performance.
  • Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity to inform strategy.
  • Define and track key marketing metrics — brand awareness, engagement, and technology adoption.
  • Ensure all marketing activities, promotional materials, and customer communications comply with FDA, global regulatory, legal, and company quality requirements, partnering closely with Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, and Legal.
  • Report regularly to executive leadership, with accountability for marketing's contribution to brand and technology visibility.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 4+ years in a team leadership role.
  • A proven player-coach mindset, comfortable setting strategy and executing hands-on, including work outside traditional marketing scope when the business needs it.
  • Experience in medical device or other regulated/technical industries strongly preferred.
  • A track record of leading marketing product managers or similar roles.
  • Strong foundation in brand strategy, product marketing, demand generation, and digital marketing.
  • A data-driven mindset with strong analytical and performance measurement skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • A track record of adapting to a new organization's way of working rather than defaulting to prior playbooks.
  • Comfortable doing whatever the business needs, even outside traditional marketing scope.
