Process Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates with a passion for manufacturing, process improvement, and problem-solving. The Process Engineer will support ongoing production and process optimization initiatives, work closely with cross-functional teams, and develop technical skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Collaboration: Use effective interpersonal skills to guide and collaborate with team members and departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Assist in gathering and analyzing data to identify opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Problem Solving & Decision Making: Help identify root causes of process issues by analyzing data and process conditions. Support the development of solutions, recommend improvements, and contribute to decision-making processes under supervision.
  • Process & Equipment Support: Support the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment. Assist in evaluating capital equipment needs and participate in vendor selection and negotiations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in experiments, process validations, and capability studies to improve quality, yield, and safety. Collaborate with all departments to drive KPI improvements.
  • Data Analysis & Statistical Application: Apply basic statistical tools and techniques to monitor process variation, analyze data, and support process control initiatives. Assist in designing sampling plans and analyzing results to optimize manufacturing performance.
  • Operational Support & Documentation: Assist in writing SOP's, safety protocols, and maintenance guidelines. Support efforts to improve plant equipment and overall process quality.
  • Customer Focus: Understand internal and external customer needs, prioritize quality, and contribute to reducing customer complaints.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Help establish systems for measuring process efficiency, performance, and improvement progress.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • Courses in process control, automation, instrumentation, or manufacturing engineering from accredited institutions or online platforms.
  • Strong understanding of process parameters, quality control, statistical tools, and equipment operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and process documentation.
  • Six Sigma certifications (Green Belt, Black Belt)
  • Certified Manufacturing Technologist (CMfgT)
  • Certified Production Technician (CPT)
  • Experience in roles such as manufacturing technician, process technician, controls technician, or quality engineer with a focus on process improvement.
