The Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher plays a key leadership role in creating responsive, nurturing environments for children birth to three. This position provides classroom oversight, guides instructional practices, and ensures highโ€‘quality programming aligned with CCG standards, Head Start Performance Standards, NAEYC criteria, and all licensing regulations.

As a team leader, you help shape the classroom culture, support staff development, and build strong partnerships with families.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Lead the management of a safe, organized, developmentally appropriate classroom environment with functional learning centers for infants and toddlers.
  • Plan and implement developmentally aligned activities using RC3, including curriculum development, child assessments, and documentation.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children and families, participating in conferences, parent meetings, and required home visits.
  • Provide guidance and indirect supervision to classroom staff while ensuring routines, safety practices, and sanitation standards are consistently met.
  • Complete required reports, documentation, and database entries (training provided) while collaborating with teams to support daily operations.
What You Bring
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Associateโ€™s Degree in child development or a related field.
  • One-year experience working with young children ages birth to three.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and a strong desire to work with infants and toddlers.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance, strong communication skills, and alignment with CCGโ€™s mission, vision, and values.
  • Integrity, teamwork, and the ability to work effectively within agency standards and philosophy.
