Job: MMPM-Maintenance Production Manager - Lawncare Recurring (Operations)

As a Maintenance Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily landscape maintenance and installation operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to company standards. This role manages field crews, coordinates resources, and drives productivity across assigned properties or projects. The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader with hands-on landscaping experience, excellent organizational skills, and a focus on quality, efficiency, and team development.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily production activities for landscaping maintenance and/or installation crews
  • Plan, schedule, and assign crews, equipment, and materials to meet operational goals
  • Supervise, train, and develop crew leaders and field personnel
  • Monitor productivity, labor efficiency, and job performance to ensure quality standards are met
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work meets contract specifications and safety requirements
  • Address operational issues, client concerns, and service adjustments in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with account management, fleet, and purchasing teams to support field operations
  • Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and best practices
  • Assist with onboarding, performance reviews, and corrective action as needed
  • Building strong relationships with your internal and external clients
  • Managing all the logistical aspects of production management to include your team, equipment, and materials
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting a variety of landscape items to include pest control, irrigation and plant material
  • Ensuring that time keeping records are submitted in an accurate and timely manner
  • Counseling and developing members within your production team
  • Providing hands on training for your new and tenured team members to ensure they are set up for success
  • Interviewing, selecting, and helping to onboard new team members and ensure each new team member has an excellent onboarding experience
  • Performing other tasks as assigned

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in landscaping operations, with supervisory or management responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, equipment, and materials
  • Proven ability to manage crews, schedules, and field productivity
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment and lift or operate equipment as needed
  • Minimum 2 years of crew management experience
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Florida Driver's License and the ability to pass an MVR check

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience managing large crews or multiple routes within a commercial landscaping company
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems, turf care, pruning practices, and seasonal landscape programs
  • Familiarity with budget tracking, labor cost control, and productivity metrics
  • Experience using scheduling, routing, or workforce management software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make real-time operational decisions
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
