Job description

As a Go Greek Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, exceeding customer expectations and ensuring that customers have a positive experience throughout our store. Additionally, as an Associate you will share product knowledge and enthusiasm with our customers by answering any questions, assisting with product suggestions, educating and exposing them to products of interest.*
  • Responsibilities will include:

Providing excellent customer service while demonstrating a passion for our food
Greeting Customers and establishing eye contact
Responding positively to customer's inquiries and assists customers with purchases, information, and product selection
Speaking to customers in a respectful manner and maintain patience in addressing customer concerns
Scanning products, processing credit cards and cash handling
Providing quality beverages and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
Providing customers samples of our selection with a view to creating sales opportunities
Following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Washing, cleaning and preparing of fruit and vegetables according to food safety procedures
Cleaning and maintains frozen yogurt equipment, the general store facility, restrooms and kitchen areas
Be friendly, courteous and respectful of fellow team members and have a positive attitude
Arrive to work on time and ready to work at the start of their shift.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions. Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers Ability to exert 25 pounds of effort to push or pull a cart and the ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds
Stooping, kneeling, reaching
Sufficient dexterity to operate kitchen utensils and a computer keyboard
Will involve long periods of sitting, standing or walking (about 90%)
Requires the ability to learn and maintain knowledge of Go Greek's products and procedures
Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holiday
