This role is fully remote, leveraging telehealth technology to connect with clients comfortably and conveniently. • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the client's trauma history and establish appropriate treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on promoting resilience and guiding clients through their trauma recovery journey.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.
• Deliver engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their experiences and enhance their coping strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping techniques, and relevant resources available within the community.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance by keeping accurate documentation of client sessions and treatment plans.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings focused on trauma-informed care, ensuring continuous professional development.
• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance treatment efficacy.

The patient population consists of children, adolescents, and their families who have experienced trauma or are dealing with trauma-related disorders. As an LPC, you will engage with clients from varied backgrounds, addressing their unique emotional and psychological needs. We value a holistic approach to mental health care, ensuring that clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate their healing journeys.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge and experience with trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, preferably in a telehealth setting.
• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
• A calm demeanor and the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
• A collaborative mindset with a desire to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
