Construction Project Manager (CPM)

Location: El Paso, TX (100% Onsite)

Duration: 12-Month Contract (Strong Potential for Extension)

About the Opportunity

Our client, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager (CPM) to support the delivery of a large-scale, mission-critical data center campus in El Paso, Texas.

This is a unique opportunity to join a significant infrastructure program and help deliver a 1GW hyperscale data center campus consisting of multiple data halls, network buildings, and supporting infrastructure. The project is currently under construction and entering critical execution, commissioning, and turnover phases.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of construction management, project management, electrical infrastructure, and MEP expertise, along with the ability to effectively communicate with engineering teams, contractors, and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day project execution across a complex, multi-contractor construction environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between construction, engineering, operations, and project stakeholders.
  • Drive project performance related to safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Partner with General Contractors and trade partners to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project risks, resolve issues, and provide regular status updates to leadership teams.
  • Support commissioning and turnover activities to ensure operational readiness.
  • Coordinate project logistics, site planning, and contractor activities.
  • Participate in design reviews, planning sessions, budgeting efforts, and schedule development.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all project activities.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of construction, project management, or construction management experience.
  • Strong electrical construction background.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
  • Experience managing schedules, budgets, project risks, and stakeholder communications.
  • background working for or closely alongside major General Contractors.
  • Experience delivering large, technically complex construction projects.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to independently manage project scope while operating within a larger program structure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hyperscale data center experience.
  • Mission-critical facility construction experience.
  • Semiconductor manufacturing facility experience.
  • Industrial, oil & gas, chemical plant, or advanced manufacturing construction experience.
  • Commissioning and turnover experience.

  • Owner-side construction management experience.

We're looking for a polished construction professional who can operate as both a project manager and on-site construction leader. Candidates from hyperscale data center environments are strongly preferred; however, professionals from semiconductor, industrial manufacturing, chemical processing, or oil & gas construction backgrounds with significant MEP and electrical expertise are highly encouraged to apply.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr.
