Job Summary

Are you high-energy, reliable, and ready to be the face of fun in Douglasville? Thunderzone is seeking a Guest Service Associate who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This isn't just a cashier job—you are the "Conductor of Fun." Whether you are checking in a bowling lane, briefing a squad for a 2-story laser tag battle, or fueling up guests at the counter, you are the key to a great guest experience.

Responsibilities

The First Impression: Greet every guest with a smile and assist them in navigating our 28 lanes, arcade, and laser tag arena.

Transaction Mastery: Accurately operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, process payments, and provide receipts.

Product Expertise: Stay up-to-date on our current specials (like our Friday Unlimited Bowling/Laser Tag bundles) to help guests get the best value.

Cross-Training: Be willing to jump in where needed—from the Front Counter to the Game Room or Laser Tag briefing room.

Keep it Sharp: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment during your shift.

Qualifications

Age: Must be at least 16–18 years of age.

Communication: Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly with guests and teammates.

Tech-Savvy: Ability to quickly and accurately learn our register and scoring systems.

Team Player: A positive "can-do" attitude and a willingness to work well with others.

Physicality: Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods in a high-energy environment.

Availability & Requirements (Mandatory)

We are a "Peak-Time" business. To be considered, you must meet the following availability:

Late Nights: Willingness to work until 11:00 PM (Sun–Thurs) and until 1:00 AM (Fri–Sat).

Holidays: Availability to work all major holidays (we are open when the fun is happening!).

Flexibility: Openness to a rotating schedule including weekends and opening shifts.

Benefits & Perks

Competitive Wages: Get paid to work in the most exciting environment in town.

Career Growth: Opportunities to move into lead or management roles.

Fun Atmosphere: A high-energy workplace where no two days are the same.

Employee Discounts: * FREE Bowling (including shoe rental).

FREE Laser Tag sessions.

Discounts on food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Ongoing Training: We’ll give you the tools you need to succeed in the hospitality industry.
