Dekker is seeking a motivated Architectural Associate to join our healthcare design studio. This role will support the planning, design, and documentation of healthcare environments that enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and user experience. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating innovative and technically sound healthcare facilities.


Responsibilities

  • Collaboratively engages in project work with responsibilities as assigned
  • Plans and develops design aspects of assigned projects, including investigation, evaluation, technical aspects, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the clients needs
  • Provides consultation and team collaboration in the planning, design, and coordination of projects
  • Independently applies advanced architectural concepts and designs
  • Carries out and delegates workflows and task assignments to project teams to meet project requirements
  • Mentors and provides technical guidance to less experienced design team members
  • Identifies and communicates project progress, accomplishments, challenges, and support needed to complete responsibilities

Qualifications

  • This is a hybrid work environment with 3 days onsite required. Applicants must be able to support this hybrid in-office work.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in Architecture or Equivalent
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the, US. Sponsorship is not available
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely proficient with computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and Revit
