Job description

Director of Community Relations – Northern Virginia Region

Youngs a Care Advantage Inc company is seeking a visionary, people-focused Bilingual Korean/English Director of Community Relations to help us expand our mission of delivering exceptional homecare services.

This full-time role requires regular travel across our Northern Virginia region-supporting teams in Annandale VA, and surrounding areas.

Position Overview

As a key member of the Care Advantage leadership team, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales, the Director of Community Relations (DCR) will:

  • Serve as the bridge between Care Advantage and the community, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Coordinate and lead community events that highlight our services and values.
  • Act as a resource and advocate for community members, ensuring seamless service coordination.
  • Generate and manage leads from events, turning opportunities into meaningful client relationships.
  • Champion our core values of Compassion, Attitude, Respect, and Excellence in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture referral sources through strategic outreach and relationship management.
  • Support Medicaid Services Coordinators with client onboarding and service coordination.
  • Keep leadership informed with CRM updates, activity reports, and territory analyses.
  • Develop and test creative, "out-of-the-box" sales strategies to drive growth.
  • Partner with Recruiting and HR to ensure Family Caregiver candidates complete onboarding successfully.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher in Social Work or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Bilingual English / Korean (REQUIRED)
  • At least 2 years of client/patient support experience with proven customer service excellence.
  • Previous home care sales experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Medicaid application process.
  • Strong communication skills-verbal and written-with the ability to inspire and connect.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
