Job Description:
Working in a team environment and supporting R/D and Manufacturing team members to support all aspects of prototype planning, development and delivery. R&D Product Engineering Support member interfaces between R&D, factory process engineering, factory supply chain. This is in support of R/D product development and transition of new products into HPE worldwide manufacturing facilities.
Contributions include applying intermediate level of subject matter expertise to solve common technical problems. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations for appropriate action. Works independently within an established framework and with moderate supervision.
Responsibilities:
  • Participates as a member of project team of other product engineers to develop and execute reliable, cost effective and high quality manufacturing solutions for products from new- product introduction through end of lifecycle.
  • Coordinates the activities of internal and outsourced development and manufacturing partners in support of the manufacture of assigned subsystems or portions of product..

Education and Experience Required:
  • Associates degree, or bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, etc. Key is HPE NPI work experiences within R/D environment.
  • Typically, 1-4 years' experience

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Highly motivated team member to work within R/D organization to support a wide verity of work opportunities.
