Job description

What You Will Do:

  • Support CI/CD pipeline administration, maintenance, and enhancement activities across AWS cloud environments.
  • Assist with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) development using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Monitor cloud environments and respond to operational alerts and incidents.
  • Support automated deployment, patching, backup, and recovery processes.
  • Participate in implementation of automation initiatives designed to reduce operational toil and improve deployment consistency.

What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
  • US Citizenship is contractually required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of ONE (1)+ year of work experience.
  • Experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration experience.
  • Basic understanding of AWS services, networking, and security concepts.
  • Experience with Git, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and CI/CD tools.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Associate Certification.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container technologies.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Exposure to Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
The annual salary range for this position is $46,000.00-$76,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
