Job description

Driesenga & Associates, Inc., a full-service Professional Surveying & Civil Engineering firm with offices throughout Michigan is seeking candidates to fill a career Survey CAD Designer opportunity in our Kalamazoo, Michigan office.

This opportunity is for an individual who excels in multi-tasking and communicating with fellow survey & engineering licensed professionals and field technicians. The position will work with and under the direction of the Project Manager and/or the Group Manager and be accountable for a wide variety of tasks on projects including civil/site construction plan prep, data point generation for use in construction staking, survey data reduction, as well as preparation of final drawings for boundary and topographical surveys.

Additional duties will include assisting the Civil Engineering Department in residential, commercial, and industrial development, as well as other miscellaneous Civil Engineering tasks.

The ideal candidate will have attained 3-5 or more years of relevant experience utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software in Survey / Civil Engineering drafting or a similar field. This individual must have the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be compensated with a highly competitive wage offer.
