Job description

An industry-leading engineering firm specializing in civil engineering, surveying, and land use planning is seeking a Senior Designer to lead the production of high-quality CAD drawings, ensuring that their projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your expertise will be critical in mentoring their CAD Technicians and overseeing outside consultants for CAD and Graphics at their Woodinville, WA location.

Also seeking a Senior Designer for their Kent, WA office.

Your Day Includes

  • Meeting with Project Managers to identify production workload
  • Managing project directories and maintaining CAD standards
  • Training and mentoring CAD and graphics personnel
  • Conducting performance reviews and participating in the hiring process
  • Overseeing the production of engineering plans to meet LDC standards

Must Haves

  • Associate's degree in Computer Aided Drafting or a related field
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in CAD with increasing responsibility
  • Civil 3D experience required
  • At least 3 years' experience supervising staff and managing project production
