Research Associate- Chemistry
Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Research Associate- Chemistry at its Detroit campus location.

Essential functions (job duties):
1) design and construct the gas-handling manifold for the next-generation of instrumentation for Xe-129 hyperpolarization.
2) assist with design of the chassis for the next-generation of instrumentation for Xe-129 hyperpolarization.
3) develop CAD drawings for critical components of the next-generation of instrumentation for Xe-129 hyperpolarization.
4) Perform equipment testing and validation studies with Xe-129 hyperpolarization.
5) Develop and implement automation of hyperpolarization instrumentation.
6) Develop and validate graphical user interfaces for NMR hyperpolarization and other related equipment.
