Job description

A strong 31-member private practice group in a beautiful southwest metro location is looking for an Interventional Radiologist to join 4 other IR physicians and 4 full time PA’s. The group covers two main hospitals, one of which is a tertiary referral center for the state, two joint venture imaging centers, 1 group owned outpatient facility and 6 rural outside hospitals. As an interventionalist, your primary focus would be with the two main hospitals and an outpatient clinic.


You can expect to do approximately 75% IR. The section is currently performing a wide range of vascular work, embolizations, including UFE's, chemoembolizations, DVT thrombolysis, PTA and stents. Non-vascular work includes tumor ablations (cryo, microwave, and RF), plus GI/GU interventions, kyphoplasty, and US/CT guided biopsies and drainages. A full venous program consists of IVC filters, TIPS, dialysis maintenance, and venous access, including chest ports and tunneled catheters.


Call is 1:4 weeks of IR-only coverage, No general/diagnostic call.
